M31

The Andromeda Galaxy aka: M31, located in the constellation Andromeda (go figure…). Similar in shape to the Milky Way Galaxy in which we reside. It resembles a giant pinwheel spinning through space ~2.4 million light years distant. With a star count in the hundreds of billions it is estimated to be 125,000 light years in diameter.
